Yes, it allows it to fade evenly. I had the side mirrors done and the door edges. They do offer the rear tires as well. Most places cut patterns for the Camaro but I'm sure you can get above the windshield.

I may have done the whole hood if it were lower in stance, like my Corvette. I couldn't justify 4 Benjies extra.

^Those are pretty well known for scratching up the paint under the bra. At least, those people I knew with them had the issues. I can't say it's like that for ALL leather bras.

I think I want to do this but I only want to do the front bumper, I would not be able to handle that line, even if its BARELY visible, Barely is enough for me to not like it

That line sucks, it looks like crap. I would rather deal with potential rock chips, and $624 for someone to shoot some clear protectant on the front 20% of my car? Can you say bend over with no vaseline?

Vince,

Where did you get it done. I'm looking for a potential place to have it done.

Thanks

I don't think I'd want it on there all the time....BUT I do want to find a decent bra that will protect it during my drive home from the dealership, which is going to be the entire length of Texas!! I'd like to find something that's gonna protect it during that long stretch of highway. Being that the car is coming in the next couple weeks, I'm not sure how much time I have

Clear bra does help quite a bit, but it doesn't keep the front end of your car from looking like it hasn't been impacted by rocks.
I have a clear bra on my Camaro, and I've noticed I've started to get a couple tiny marks that look similar to what your front end would look like if it was hit by a small rock chip.
The tiny marks/cuts apprear to be just be in clear bra and not all the way through to the paint. Most likely, when the clear bra is removed, the paint will still look good.

But to the untrained eye, it still looks like a small impact mark caused by a rock chip hitting the car.

It all depends on what type of film you get. Not all films are the same so its not correct to say that all fo them will get chips. 3M uses an acrylic topcoat that does chip and looks terrible after a while. But VentureShield Ultra and ClearMask AR do not chip up and will hold up very well if properly maintained. I have 62,000 miles on my Jeep SRT-8 and not a single nick in the film.

Just rent a truck and a trailer from Uhaul (or any other place).
