You are clearly THAT guy. lol You were threatened by it. lol

My post quoting you was a joke commenting on your description of a woman cheating.

Nothing in what I've posted should have brought that reaction. So you are clearly that guy.

Until you get into a car or truck with no syncronizers don't talk about being removed from the task of driving. I have in fact done all of the above.
You threw an insult directly at me - that is what brought my reaction. And I never described a woman cheating. I said that I doubt any man is smitten with the idea that his wife is well-pleasured, if another man is doing the work.

The "description" that followed was an analogy between the satisfaction of doing all the right things in bed, and doing all the right things with 3 pedals. It was unrelated to the previous sentence.

The point of the entire paragraph was neither about cheating nor sex, it was about the joy and satisfaction of doing it yourself and doing it correctly.

And as someone with a CDL, I know full well what having to deal with double-clutching every shift is like. And if I had only two choices of transmission in a daily driving vehicle, an automatic of any flavor (including any transmission that removes the clutch pedal) or a 10-speed Allison - even in NYC traffic I still choose the Allison. It's more involving.

What insult? It was a joke about one part of your description. Sorry for not making it more clear. I will try to be more clear.

This topic has seen it's share of arguments. haha

Used to be the L99 vs LS3 argument.

In the end we all unanimously agree that Auto guy is just cooler.

if they had a dual clutch auto, I would prefer that, but because of the increased cost and GG tax, i'll take the manual

Until a car can wheelie by popping the clutch in 2nd, I'll enjoy manual transmissions on my bikes.

I have driven Manuals for must of my live, about 14 years ago my car was in the body shop which forced me into a rental. I was surprise to see the improvements that had been made to the modern automatic transmissions. In my day(60-90 we had 4 speeds max), Now we have automatics that can also funchion(?) as a manuals with up to 8 forward gears. I will say that sometime I still find myself still reaching for that third pedal. That said, I love my L99, and have just as much fun with it as I did with all my manuals.
