I'm waiting on purchasing the service manual until i can get it with reasonable shipping charges (and not this 1980's handling surcharge nonsense). Either that or a digital copy like what you would expect in 2017.

Can you post a picture? I'm considering purchasing, and I'm curious what kind of quality you get for $500.

I had the 2013 F-Body (Camaro) set of manuals from Helm. 6 vols. Seem to remember it was only about $200. They can keep the new set.

$479 with shipping, handing, and tax, per the post above. That's closer to 500 than 375.

You don't know what a picture is?

I don't have any right now, but here's a picture of the last set I had.
These manuals are top notch quality, they are NOT Xerox copies, they are professional manuals.

Thanks, that's about what I was expecting, but the disclaimer at checkout is a little strange. "This manual is a digital reprint of the original publication. It is possible that this item will be in loose-leaf format." I wouldn't want to pay that much for loose-leaf. :0

In all the years I've had manuals from Helm, NONE of them have been in any other format than what you see here.

I expect you will never see Helm publish manuals in digital form simply due to copyright issues.

If you have it in paper form, how likely are you to Xerox a copy and give it to others for free, vs how easy it would be to pass on a digital copy without paying anything to the publisher?

Someone, or a group of people, will inevitably get around to scanning every page into a PDF and you will see it pop up somewhere in digital circulation.

Everyone thought music file sharing was dead when Lars Ulrich and Metallica and the record companies killed Napster. Then a guy by the name of Steve Jobs figured out how to make it profitable for the companies and cheap for the consumers without breaking copyright laws.

He made them all understand file sharing is here to stay, legally or illegally, and no one was going to stop it. So it was a case of get on board with it and use this system so everyone is happy.
