Transmission Leak
Can somebody tell me what kind of silver cap this is on the bottom of my 2015 camaro V6 Transmission ? After wiping it off a little drop shows up about 15 min after, ( see pics) so the puddle of transmission fluid after one night looks like this :

.. the leak doesn't come from there. it comes from the inside the transmission closer to the clutch converter.. and shows me on an open transmission which seal high hat to be replaced. I’m thinking about adding "blue devil stop transmission leak product “ to it, to see what happens.

That looks like the torque converter cap - your trans front seal may be leaking

That is the access/sight cover for the trans that keeps dirt and debris out of the bellhousing. It looks as though as Big said, you might have a pump seal going bad in the front of the trans. Mine leaked in there when my previous torque converter went bad. Also when my engine rear main went bad, it leaked from in there also. Good luck..

hopefully one hat can easily be replaced .. or main or pump seal or bushen. I was debating if I should use blue devil seal fix fluid product , but I think that might cause problems with the rest of the transmission. I will keep you guys updated on here.
