Bluetooth Phone Sound Quality W/O Center Speaker

I'm curious how not having a center speaker affects the quality of bluetooth audio cell phone calls. Can anybody chime in on this?

I'm planning on going with an aftermarket amp and I'll loose the center speaker if I do but I still want to be able to use my Bluetooth to make calls.

I haven't noticed any difference, but I wasn't looking for one either. I can still hear fine.
(But I still have the stock BA system, minus the center speaker)

I was on the phone this morning for like 20 minutes during my commute. Had no problems hearing the girlfriend.

I think this is going to cause you some trouble IIRC. It is not so much the center speaker as the "channel" that the amp has to run the BCM sounds like bluetooth, nav and park assist etc. Contact Steve at ********. I think he has it all worked out...

I think you should be fine, Agent. The center speaker is not it's own channel, it shares the signal from the front components (I think).

Correct. The center speaker gets its input from both the left and right channels. Merging/combining these two channels to get a "center" channel. Due to the center channel not being its own/separate channel but rather a combination of left and right leads to poor output. Which then is why some/many members simply chose to unplug the center speaker, myself included.

Cool! Thanks for the help! Now I can't wait to get rid of my stock system and get something better in there.
