its the OP fault for everything. if your friend told you to lay on some train tracks as a train was approaching cus the train would go right over you would you do it? granted not everyone is mechanically inclined, but if you dont know how to change your own oil, you need to drop your man card off at the door.

I don't understand why you guys are laughing at this. This is a legitimate procedure encouraged by Ford for their high performance vehicles. It is also recommended in the owner's manual. The water picks up the nasty sludge deposits left by old oil and flushes it out clean. It even removes some of the surface metal that has been worn or scored through dirty oil usage.

I've been busy at work, and I've had other things to do at night. I've been catching up on the last 2 days this evening.

Its a Darwinian elimination of people unfit to be around cars and calling themselves "car guys". My only regret is that innocent engines may be compromised in the process.

while you can flush the motor that way, you dont START THE CAR with water pumping thru there.

if you really want to clean the block, pull it apart, and clean it that way, dry it out completely, then reassemble.
