Its been forever and i dont have an update for you giys on the turbo progress, but i did install the trunion kit 2,500 miles ago so far so good its taken a beating has been to the track for some testing and all. Step by step were getting there. At the rate im going it will be turbo with a built lsx block instead of messing with the oem block lol.

On another update it looks as for now i have changed my mind to do with DSX Aux fuel kit over the A1000 due to certain reasons regarding failures and production times, but could be changed if i see different resukts in person. A couple of vettes at a local shop of a buddy of mine have had some failures 1 which was catastrophic due to pump failure

Well talk about brining back from the dead lol. Guys this year has been very difficult in terms on many things, and the car really has not gotten anywhere near where I would like, but that’s life sometimes. Sooo fast foward to present day. Car has gotten ARP rocker arm bolts, a new bigger K&N intake filter with more surface area and ability to flow more air volumetricly 3” Vbanded header dumps, and Torque Solution Billet Motor Mounts. Other than that, it’s been consistent and as great as always. I hope to be able to continue the journey and boost it this upcoming year and make some jam!

Fastest time on current set up, with a stock clutch, stock 20s up front, complete stock suspension has been 11.1 at 121mph 1/4 at PBIR. Very happy to have been able to race the car 10 months out of the year this season with no mishaps. S/O to my boy and tuner DSMLIGHTS for giving me that jam.

Hope to be adding soon a new clutch, new intake manifold, fuel rails, and possibly some GMPP heads.

Lil update, did the diff fluid, trans fluid (used oem ACDelco fluid) still waiting on some slotted rotors and pads as well as my tires come in. We also put on a ZEX Kit I put together with all the bells n whistles. 10lb bottle, bottle heater, lnc-2000, Switch Pannel, Ethanol Jets, dual outlet ZEX inline purge. Went with another pair of NITTO NT05R (3rd pair I’ve used pretty happy with them) We will be heading to the dyno this Friday comming up so let’s see. Gotta button up some connections, and clean it all up today, but should finish today setting the car up. Only thing missing is brakes and tires which get here this week, and we will be ready to go for TRC STREET KINGS AR PBIR.

All went well other than needing a clutch and fuel pump. Clutch ships out next week. I ended up tossing a Spec Stage 3 6 puck in due to severity of needing a clutch n really only need it to last 1 season. I will be going with a twin disk after. We will turn it up once those 2 things are addressed. Car should make 650+

Aux fuel system installed. Have to run power tomorrow and permanently mount the pump in it’s place and tighten the fittings to the pump and install some U-Clips to hold lines up. Otherwise it’s good to go. We should be turning it up on Friday if my Jets show up.

Took off the rear valance yesterday. After I switch from my GMPP exhaust to the 3” dumps, theee has been a bit of a chute effect. So decided to take it off so airflow could go directly out. I still need to remove rear crash beam, as well as rear fender liners. But here is a lil something

I agree the rear valance certainly acts as a parachute effect. Are you planning to make some type of finished cover ?

Small update....

After a 6 month wait for my Wheels, they are finally here. Went with Forgestar D5 wrapped in Mickey Thompson ET Street R 305/45/17. Ill eventually get the fronts to match. I also took off my headers and dumps gave them a ceramic coating.

Just some FL2K Prep

Got in on the Huron Speed Group Buy. Let’s see what she makes. I’m excited to reach this phase of my build. It was a always my goal to Turbo the car and now it’s time to make some real power with spray for the big end as well.

Nice build how do you like those motor mounts are they solid? And are those F1x pro seats? If so how do they feel?

The Torque Solution Solid Billet Motor Mounts are fantastic. Highly recommended. The seats are Corbeau A4 Seats. I personally like them. IMO not the highest of quality when compared to some other options out there. Price also reflects that though. Overall I love them as well. Only complaint I’d have is the side bolster bit worn out sooner than I’d expect, but hey, it’s my racecar so the hell with it. We’re here to go fast.
