Way back when, I had a white Z-28 with Gold stripes and black smoked T-tops and I had a lot of compliments on it. The color White looks great the key is to have the right accent color(s).

The big issue is, what color ralley or hockey puck stripes do I get Black, Blue or Orange? Orange seems cool but a bit of an impulse, black makes the car look raw (race ready), and blue is cool. Also, the interior not sure what color to get but I am leaning towards beige.

I do not care how long I have to wait I am getting a White Camaro. Thanks.

Have your dealer refresh his computer. Summit white has been available to order since June. Mine was ordered on 6/11 with no problem and has been accepted by G.M. I'm getting the Inferno Orange interior but IO stripes are not available from the factory so I'm ordering from the dealer over the counter or aftermarket- will decide when the car comes in. Blue stripes from G.M.- I don't think so at this point. Black on white looks really good in my opinion.

I think its up to the dealers on what color of stripes you can put on because my dealer said it's not going to be a problem getting any color for my white SS i ordered. He said its all in just matching the paint to whatever color I want. But for sure all stripes are being done by dealers or aftermarket, they're not being manufactured yet.

Just got an updated Workbench faxed by my dealer this A.M. My Summit white Camaro current event is now at 2000-(accepted by G.M.) Does anyone know the approximate time to move to the next level ?. I hope G.M. decides to run a batch of whites off the line to get them on the road- LOL, wishfull thinking.

why it's taking so long to paint that car and make it to the buying public?????? gm is always slow to react.. if the rumors are right-- --on this forum about ibm being pulled out -- being a slow seller- why not white? there's none on the roads!!! how do they work in there?

White's weren't being produced until this month. Why would they pull a color that has not had a chance to be produced, because there are none on the road? The reason they aren't out yet, is because they weren't available. Think a little before you post. Summit White is an interim color. It wasn't available before now, because Impalas were still being produced with a different white. GM had to wait for all those to be filled before they changed the paint out for the Summit White Camaro

Ordered mine on 6-25-09 and can't wait to see her some day soon.

Talked with a friend of mine in the Dallas area and he stated that he ordered a white 2ss/ RS Camaro with IO stripes and IO interior. He said that it would be there next month but that he might not buy it after he saw pictures of the convertible concept. Then he asked if I wanted to buy it instead but I think I am going to continue to wait for the CGM 2SS/RS w/ Auto that I have ordered going on 2 months now.
I just have never really been a white car kind of guy.
