Is there anyway we can adjust the clutch , i dont not like the fact it engages really late near the top , would rather like it near the bottom! thanks

Doubtful. The 5th gen was setup the same way.

Not that I know of, no issues on the ones I've driven. An engagement point too low would make normal shifts harder to execute smoothly anyway...

Modern cars do have adjustable clutches - they use hydraulic master cylinders that automatically compensate as the clutch wears.

Not sure if there are dimensional differences in that instance but when I measured everything after taking it out, it did need it.

My '17 engages lower compared to my previous vehicles including an '08 Z51. It did some getting used to. I think I'd like it a little higher.

Clutches on cars haven't been adjustable since they all went hydraulic back in the 70s.

The Camaro clutch is a lot lower engagement point than the C7. That one felt like it was all the way at the top in the one I drove. In my car, it feels (key word, feels) closer to halfway. I'm sure it's like 3/4's or something.
Sporty cars have high engagement points. |
