I feel like the Prothane is potentially a better buy for my build. Saves me a bit of coin while still producing a better performance over factory so that I can put the $ elsewhere

That was pretty much my approach until I saw a set of used Pfadt solids for sale in the classifieds. I doubt I would ever drive Bee hard enough to tell the difference, but with some of the long-term goals I had there was a chance I'd have to eventually upgrade to solids anyways.

"off the shelf" pricing (does not include taxes or shipping):
ADM = $500 Apex/Pfadt = $650 Detroit Speed = $725 IMO, the only difference between them is that the Detroits are lighter since they have a hole pattern similar to a revolver. However, I doubt the weight difference is more than a pound. I didn't weigh them before installing, but the Pfadt ones couldn't have weighed more than 8lbs for the entire set. Each of these can be found cheaper by contacting the vendors or diligently watching the classifieds. There was a guy around here about 6-7 months ago selling some "unfinished" Pfadt bushings. IIRC, they were in the $450 range, but I think he went away once Apex re-released them.
