Not that I know of. Nothing really seemed to move around. The only concern I had is that they're tall, like "are they going to hit the hood" tall but they seem to clear just fine.

I love all the visual mods. Is that a billet pulley? or just a dress up face?

Thank you bro! It's just a face that bolts onto the plastic pulley. The weird part is that it doesn't spin with the pulley, it floats. Freaked me out when I started the car and didn't see it moving.

Random update. Got the yearly oil change done and took her for a spin since it was so nice here in PA. I took it easy as I'm trying to burn through 4 month old gas.

While underneath I examined the fit on my latest purchase, a BMR driveshaft safety loop that I scored on FB Marketplace. This is completely unnecessary at my power level but it's more a piece of mind thing, can't hurt. This will be set off to the side for now as there will be more to this little project. Plus...I don't know about that red.

Shout out to C&M Gearworks, they hooked me up on a complete AAM rebuild kit for the GM 8.6 IRS. Between this and GM Performance kit I have every single seal, bearing, shim, bolt...the whole 9.

Still hunting down a case. I have yet to see one under $500 and that's a tough pill to swallow when I don't care about the internals...like, at all. The final piece is the Eaton.

Are you doing a gear swap as well? Or just rebuilding stuff?

Yes sir, I picked up some 3.91's last month, it was a couple pages back. I'm going to drop my OE case with everything still inside and set that off to the side. JIC.

The replacement will be all new: case, Eaton Trutrac, 3.91's, LPW cover, BMR bushings, bearings, seals, bolts. Probably going to have Janetty Racing put it together, I don't live too far from CT.

Decided to try some higher quality fuel out. I want to express in detail how I was not searching for power here, just quality. There's no Shell around here and the Sunoco I usually use isn't high volume, especially for 93. Costco and Sheetz are the more abundant gas stations, not really known for quality. So I decided to try this based on some info from the Ford camp, Sunoco 260 GT 100 octane.

The car responded well, I drove it for about 20-30 mins, mostly state highway, it pulled and idled much smoother AGAIN no doubt from new, clean fuel. I'm in no way saying it made 0.1 more HP, it just seemed happier and that was my goal.

I also need to not let this thing sit so much. I'm terrible with that.
