Carbon fiber
Sorry for posting this here. But when I post in the smaller forums below nobody replies. In this forum I get fast replies!
My car is just going through a major service, anything fixed that isn't working, wheels powder coated and ceramic coated, engine detailed and all paintwork detailed and finally all paintwork glass coated. If I spend anymore money on my car, my wife will have my nuts So the last thing I want to tidy up is the carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser. As you can see in the photos below it isn't that bad. I bought a roll of carbon fiber stickers but not sure if thats the way to go. I will also get the carbon fiber glass coated. I wondered if that would make the scuffs less noticeable? Any advice greatly appreciated!

It looks to me like the spoiler may just vinyl wrapped from the last picture. If so have the old wrap pealed off, body work it and rewrap.

Depends. It could have been a CF 'skinned' fiberglass splitter. That's basically a couple of sheets of carbon fiber wrapped onto the part and then glossed/resin applied. People do it with fiberglass on nonstructural parts as it is cheaper than full CF.
The undamaged areas of your splitter, does it feel like a hard shell? I'm having a hard time examining your pictures.

Judging by the wrinkles in the last, my guess is fake carbon fiber vinyl wrap, but hard to say from pictures. If you pull on the outer layer at the tear, does it stretch?
