No. I was seriously considering it, but not convinced by some things I've seen on the prototypes.

Maybe I'd consider if they ever make it in a convertible...

Whenever I move back to the USA, I'll be buying one. By then, it may be used? Such is the life of an expat!

Not limited. Dealers only mark up cars because people that don;t know any better pay it.

Sure would like one, but the only thing I'd really be after is the magnetic ride suspension. I'd have to sell the SS, and still have to put up another 20 large to make the payments tolerable. Ain't gonna happen. Especially when I can just blow the SS and maybe get some subframe goodies for around 10k.

Plus the steering wheel is hideous.

only if:
1) came in an automatic with nice paddle shifters.
2) if I didn't get a 2011 SS that just barely hit 10,000 miles. I would NEVER trade in my baby.
3) If the front end didn't look like that of a v6 with a chin splitter.
I am looking to get atleast 3-4 years out of my camaro and then possibly buy a year-old zl1 (if they are still being made) or a GTR in the future.

I wont buy one till some info is released, pictures and hype work for the masses but i want tech info.

How "beefed" up is the driveline, how about the motor is it built for boost or is it just enough. I looked like some wider pulleys were on the driveline, is that the case? Basically would it be feasible to upgrade to the zl1 from my 2010 ss or would I be better off just improving my 2010 which is in the process of being more beefed up then the zl1.

Dollar to dollar, mod to mod ............. which is the better platform ........ either one true but why pay 50 grand for a car if ide have to do the same engine mods, driveline mods ect to make it handle the power i want

Just sold my '06 GTO and was going to get the CTS-V Coupe as my next daily driver, waiting for the ZL1. It has a warranty.

Doubtful. Magnetic Ride Suspension for one will be hard to duplicate at any price.

I am committed to buying a vert for my next vehicle. If they build it I will be there.

IF I can pick up a base model with a price tag mid to upper 40s with the GM Employee Discount I am in, otherwise I will wait for the used models to hit the markets.

There's a good chance that I'll buy one after the initial furor winds down, but I won't pay over $50K out the door for it. So basically, they'll have to build enough of them that we'll be able to buy'em for under MSRP...

But if production is limited, then I doubt I'll be willing to pay the price...
