Close exhaust actuator before start

Is there a way to close the exhaust actuator on a 2018 ZL1 before I start it?

Thanks.

1. With foot off the brake pedal, hold the start button down 5 seconds.
2. Wait for infotainment to boot up.
3. Go to Settings > Driving Mode > Engine Sound Management > set to STEALTH. This will close the NPP exhaust valves.
4. Start the car.

Forgetting to leave in stealth mode before parking for the night, eh? It should become habit pretty soon.

I didn't even know this was an option.... I just figured if I didn't leave the NPP on Stealth before shutting the car down then all hell would have to break loose on the next startup haha.

I would just put it and leave it in stealth mode all the time. Problem solved.

If you shut it off in stealth mode when you initially start it the valves will be open and then shut after a few seconds so it is a bit loud at first. I never tried it the way Gunkk described
