Here is mine. I had started ordering parts for it in late 2010. As time went on I upgraded, added things, etc. This is what it looks like as of right now.

-Bravo Company USA 16" light weight mid length upper
-Bravo Company USA Mod 4 big latch charging handle
-Spikes Tactical lower w/ laser etched American flag
-Accu Wedge in the lower (takes out a little of the slop between the two halves)
-MagPul ACS-L Stock. Same as the ACS but without the battery tubes (slimmer)
-Magpul hand guard, Scout Mount (for the flash light), and back up rear sight
-Surefire G2X Tactical mounted with a leftover Warne scope ring
-Magpul sling hook
-VTAC rapid adjust sling (not pictured) with and MI quick detach swivel on one end and an HK hook on the other.
-Hogue grip
-Primary Arms MD-09 Micro Dot with QD mount

Only plans now is I may swap the Surefire for a Streamlight TLR1-S (Easier to activate plus strobe mode) and a better trigger than the stock GI bang switch.

10 mm is a good round. Just pricey
Yeah it is but I load my own ammo other than 5.56/9mm and 7.62x54r so 10mm prices won't affect me.

Every day haha. Actually he bought it so we could all learn with it, including my mom so it had to be something that didn't recoil too much.

I find that reloading isn't cheaper..... by a LONG shot! (pun intended) Although, if you do shoot a lot, it will pay for itself over the years.

If you buy consumables by 1000 lot, the cost each is pretty good, but most folks won't shoot 1000 rds of one caliber in their lifetime.

Everyone seems to see reloading differently..... I see it as being able to customize a load for a particular weapon, for accuracy and dependability. It's also nice to be able to crank out 100 rds of .45 without having to drive to town.

Bhobbs, yes, that is my Tac50. Mr Twisty, most tactical guys will easily shoot 500 rounds of 5.56 in a day. I am sure that if someone goes to any shooting range the minimum they are going to shoot whether rifle or sidearm is 100 rounds...go 10 times to the range and there is the 1000 rounds you refer to that most people will never shoot in their lifetime. I am sure most owners go shooting at least once every other month so that means minimum they will shoot at least 1000 rounds every two years. A 1000 rounds is nothing. Reloading is a smart way to go.

My son in law bought a shotgun.

Just because you can afford to buy one doesn't mean you should have one!

I don't know how he jammed the shells in there backwards.

I had to take it apart to unload the gun.

It is just a standard Troy flip up HK style.

I did say most people..... you're describing a shooting enthusiast, I'm referring to all gun owners.

In a years time, a lot of gun owners come out to the house to shoot, but I only see them once. They just don't shoot on a regular basis.

Out of ~30 people that may show up, there are 5 or 6 that shoot regularly, 3 of us reload. I would like to see them shoot more often... (except for the dipsticks that ruin my plates with steel cores)..... it just don't happen

...and maybe I'm getting old, but after 30 rds of .308 loaded hot & heavy, I'm done...... unless you want to let me shoot one of those fine AR15's of yours

Well just based on the last page of this thread it's clear I'm a rookie in more way than one here!

This was my first time shooting tonight and here is how I did! Fired a .357 and 9mm.

I don't think I did terrible for a first time out at 15 yards! Hoping to learn and get better!

It's not hard. Here is one AR and a couple of the many kids I have.
