EZ-Clutch Pedal Extension

I saw this in the back of Camaro Performers magazine last week. I figured that I would give it a try. It extends the contact surface of the clutch pedal 40mm. It allowed me to move the seat back into a more comfortable driving position while still being able to fully depress the clutch pedal. I feel like I can finally sit comfortably for a long drive. It was not expensive and installed in minutes without drilling. The package was sent priority mail and I received a tracking number. I am very happy with the purchase.

I never fully depress my clutch all the way to the bottom. Just far enough to engage. As a matter of fact I keep my seat back far enough on purpose so that I can't fully depress the clutch pedal.

I feel silly asking this, having driven manual cars for 13 years... but why?

With the clutch on the LS3 (at least on mine) if you press it all the way to the bottom you have to let it come back up so far before it engages. I prefer to just depress it far enough (about 3/4 of the way down) so that it disengages then as soon as I let it back up it immediately engages. I find my shifts are much quicker and smoother.

My clutch engages no where near the floor. I'd say 1/2-3/4th the way to the floor.
