CPU question
I'm upgrading my CPU, just for the shear fun of it. Currently have a i7-2600k and a FX-8120. Which system would be better for upgrading? Seriously?
Going for the i7-3770k or the FX-8350?

From experience, go with Intel. AMD might seem better on some benchmarks and is probably cheaper, but Inter murders anything.

Intel. Better CPU's and have throttle down protection if cooling fails.

Intel. Also, a lot of CAD workstations at my job have them. Some have the i7-2600k and some have the i7-3770k. Definitely awesome CPU's.

Stick with Intel, the i7-3770k is a great processor; I know quite a few people who use them. I've had a couple AMD processors in the past, but will never get another one.

Great choice with the 3770k - runs cool and is great for overclocking. That H100 will help you too with if you want to run 4.0 Ghz constant - planning on getting one myself soon.
Where did you pickup your 3770 from? Ive been looking for a good price on one...

I just wrote and essay about how there will be little difference, but then I read you got it so I erased it lmao. You should have waited for the next gen, I have seen and used some of it already. Intel loves penn state so we get "exclusive" access. the 3770k is sick though, congrats on your freakin sick computer too lol. Cant wait to squad with you lmao
