Where did you get your figure that we cannot build V6 Camaro as a standalone product? because you have been greatly misinformed.
FLEX LINE...

Read between the lines people...

That means they COULD build the 80/20 V8/V6 order percentages...

For regular production, though -- don't suppliers have to be able to maintain the call for parts? Mostly drivetrain in this instance...

And we were told by Scott...perhaps it was misinterpreted, that the plant can handle at V8/V6 split ratio of 50/50. Naturally, I would imagine most people would assume it couldn't handle 100% of any model. ...I did.

^Probably has to do with parts supply.

With all this talk about a delay, and even if it is only a 30 day delay, and now that the vert has been seen, maybe the next set of rumors will surround the Z28. I think I will wait for that rumor to come true. It may be the last car I ever buy...........again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's what I'm thinking. 80Zedder and his buds at the plant don't care what they put in the cars and can run any sort of split they want (hence why he said that) but the suppliers and supply chain logistics people may crap themselves if they had to schedule a variation in split like that.

Thats what I figure. There is no logical reason why the robots and CAW workers couldn't handle buiding SS's for 6 months straight if the parts were there.

PRODUCTION PUSHED BACK ONE MONTH?

I ordered my black and silver beauty on Oct 16. I've been in contact with my salesman every week about the car. He Emailed me today and it said , "Camaro production was to start mid February but there was a problem with the supplier for the door trim panels. Production now to start mid March." and I want to know it anyone has heard this yet?

This was from the salesman i ordered it from.

Let me know...

Rob

We learned this about a week ago. Scott nearly had a heart attack. CamaroScotty told us about it from the IDL.
