Wheel Locks

I checked at the Chevy parts department and after a lot of digging, we located the item. M14 (14mm) is the size. The Chevy part number is 92221879 and the price is $130.00. That is for 4 lock nuts and a key. I was floored with the price but ordered anyway to be able to look at them visually. They have no pictures or any kind of a drawing in the parts system.

I checked at the parts houses and they have 14mm sets starting around $15.00. So I will look at the Chevy part and compare the chrome plating to the actual remaining lock nuts on the cat and make a decision as to whether I buy from GM or not. I am getting my car by next Friday and I will be paying MSRP, so I don't mind a little ripping from GM on the parts.

Let me know what you think !!

GO TO: www.gmpartsdirect.com. I went to their site in April went through their entire catalog under chevrolet/camaro/2010 in their pulldown menus. The locks (part #92221880) are chrome with list price at $85. In April before I received the car I paid $61.88. These are new, genuine GM parts in GM wrappers at discount prices. NO BS!

Wheel Locks

I know this is important, but I am not sure...I think 1.5.......KJS has added the site and the better price. They first quoted me the $85.00 then upped it to $130.00. Maybe we can get the threads count on the site. Hope this helps.

Re wheel locks. The numbers may be reversed. One number is for "caps" only. The other is for "caps and locks". Look at the description after clicking on the number

Part number 92221880 - 4 wheel locks and one wheel lock key

The part number on my "GM Accessories" package is 92221880. It contains 4 wheel locks and one wheel lock key. FYI: they are actualy manufactured by McGard. Thats who I had to send off for a second/spare "key".

It's listed in the gmpartsdirect.com site as 92221880 Wheel, Locks Chrome Wheel Lock Set

Don't leave the key in the vehicle unless your in it btw. The smash and grabbers sometimes will break the window just to check for the key and or any goodies in the glove boxes.
