Cai got loose check engine on clear???

My cai elbow came loose so it made the check engine light come on. If I disconnect battery will that clear it?

I think with driving around and a few cycles of the key it will go out on it's own.

Pann is right...it will clear after you drive it. I had the same thing happen.

Any auto parts store will let you use their OBDII scan tool too clear it for free

I had a similar issue with the air filter coming loose. After tightening back up it only took a day for the light to shut off for me.
