E brake cables + One piece driveshaft = PITA - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So on the factory driveline the ebrake cables I believe are separated from the the tiny factory driveshaft via heat shields, when I went to a one piece DSS driveshaft the heat shields had to go. Now my ebrake cables drag on my driveshaft and there is no way of securing them up and out of the way that I can think of..... anyone experience or overcome this?

I left the heatshield for the fuel tank there. I never experienced this problem.

I never had this problem either when I installed mine. 2011 SS L99...

Having that problem right now but I also have Hendrix Differential offset bushings that I think I have to switch out
Think it will give me the room i need

I zip tied my cables to my toe arms.

Well i did what you did
And much much better thank you
Plus i had to re-adjust my parking brake pads
Cause i made them to tight and they were grinding
All better
