Pretty big chunk off. Why? Good price, even if it is an automatic.

GM rebates are currently 20-25% off MSRP for the Camaro. Not all dealers qualify for the 25% and/or are purposefully withholding the extra 5% from the public and not all vehicles in inventory qualify.

Even if it's an Automatic? Lame remark. The auto is an expensive
option if I'm not mistaken.

The auto may be an expensive option but if I were to buy a new Camaro I would pay more for the manual. Just one of those things where everybody has their own tastes. However that sure is a good deal on that car.

I'll have mine paid off in ten months and I'll be in the market for a new daily driver (Explorer), by then. If I was buying a new one I think I would go for the blue which I love!

As for stick vs auto I love the paddles as a compromise. Run the shifts up to 4 - 5+ grand when I want to get on it, avoid the 1 - 4 gear skip, no problems drinking coffee and making a phone call while driving and I can just drive it in auto when I feel like it. Also, for all the die hards that love the manual, many find out that the auto is the only way to go when launching down the 1/4 mile track. You can't out shift an auto. Its all good though, everyone has their preferences.

I was thinking that "maybe" they had to move the automatics, hence the sale, because usually the manuals, when were talking about V-8 muscle cars, are more desirable. It was just a thought as a reason for the reduction. I realize that manuals, sadly, are losing ground to that "paddle shift" garbage. In my opinion, If a person wants to drive an automatic, then the car should ONLY be automatic. The "lame" paddle shift makes one feel as though they are shifting like a manual. Bull! If you want to shift, learn how to drive a manual.

Dealer I stopped at is sitting on a 2016 Stick 2SS convert with the tan interior.
Basically the 20% off tag and thats it.
$10K off.

The OPs posting "knocks it out of the park" compared to what I'm seeing here in Cleveland.

Go to another dealer, current Camaro rebates are 25% through 10/31/2016

I drive by that dealership a few times a week. May have to see what else they've got in stock on sale.
