The JL audio 900/5 is a great amp, if your going for the one amp to run everything install.

Or do you recommend separate amps for sub and speakers?

I am no electrical engineer, but will the JL sub W7AE be compatible with the HD900/5?
I have read numerous posts on this, but its something to do with the internal resistance of the battery and the wire running to the amp from the battery( Resistance of the battery) |

That amplifier wont power that sub. I would do a 2 12w7, and 2 1200/1 sub/amplifier on the low end of things. Only if your goal is to spend the whole 10k. You can upgrade the electrical, multible battery setup.

Also the AE is just the anniversary edition of that sub. you can save a ton of $ and just get a regular 12w7.

I believe the power wire in the Camaro is 2ga, I would do 0ga from the battery to your distribution block, then 4ga to your amps.

I can look after the electrical part, but I am having a tough time deciding on the speakers and the amps
