Automatic = L99

The reason it has a harder time spinning the wheels than the Manual tranny is becasue the manual tranny is for holywood guys who like to show all the smoke and not get down the road faster.

What gives with the "Camaro Envy"?

When I get mine in a few weeks, snot-nosed punks may want to race or whatever, but I'm 42 and past that stage. I know it's fast and no sense in displaying.

The L99 is the same engine as the LS3 but with VVT and a slightly different cam. It's for AFM to apease the Gov and CAFE. It totaly sucks. Less HP but geared different so nothing lost in time.

BUT. Chicks dig the L99 more.

I love how my A6 hooks up and goes!!!! BUT, I was having a blast riding shotgun with Cyndi not long ago when she was snapping those gears one right after another, over and over again! Yep, my wife knows how to drive her LS3!
