Oh this thread is going to be juicy! A youngin with monies... here we go!

RS Package is ~$1200 extra dollars and gets you a few different things that are primarily cosmetic.

There are plenty of dealers on the site that can track down a car for you, and some even in Florida that I'm sure would be happy to help. Good luck and enjoy.

All the info is out there, in fact if you look at a window sticker in a car it'll break down what the RS package has in it.

It's completely worth it to me, the halos around the HID headlights, the rear spoiler, and the larger tires/rims are the key points.

Spend your time reading, all the info you need is on these forums already, just do searches and read the first 4-5 pages of threads in each main section here.

Good luck, nice car for a kid.

Its $1200 if you already have an SS. For LT, it's more because the wheel upgrade is greater and the spoiler needs to be added.

Please click on the Wiki link (top of page) to get more info on packages and pricing.

You obviously forgot what being 16 is all about; getting laid.

The RS package will get you laid more ;-)

Yup, Halo's, spolier, and bigger wheel package make it worth it alone. Not to mention RS badging, and if you spring for a 2LT (loaded 6) you get the HUD, leather, and connectivity package, 4-gage cluster.

A lot of that can be added later, at extra cost. IMO your better off getting it all put in now, and not have to bull$#it around with anything afterward that didn't originally come with the car.

Hit the local dealer, grab a brochure... tolerate the laughing at you cuz your 16, then go to another dealer and order.

Good luck! and welcome to C5
