The auto show sucks when Scotts not around & He doesnt ship the Camaro lol. (yea I can blame hiim all I want)

But the car shows are kewl around here, even more so if Scott shows up & brings toys from GMs store rooms.

OMG!!! they finally let Shunt out of the trunk!!! And I do have to say that is was very disappointing that we could not sit in the camaro. I understand that this a preproduction car, but the real car is suppose to be being built in a little over a month. With all due respect meant, I find it kinda crappy that over 10000 people have ordered this car and maybe a 100 have got to actually sit their butt in the seat. Its very inconsiderate on the part of chevy...this is how they lose sales. Heck, the Z370 just came out and I got to sit in it.

There are a handful of Camaros out there (such as the Red SS/RS at NAIAS) that have finished interiors......we're going to get them into shows ASAP...

you should probably consider the ordeal they went through with the interior parts supplier a few weeks back. that set put them a little more behind schedule on top of trying to work out the minor deals.

you said the 370Z just came out. the camaro ain't out yet & still has another 45 days til production even starts, so just keep that in mind.

These cars that are going out to the show are PRE PRODUCTION, there are very little cars out there that are PRODUCTION cars right now. the cars start going in to production soon, if they havent already started going in.

never in history has a car seen this many shows before release. with production starting in roughly seven weeks, we usually wouldn't've heard any details about the car until a couple months ago. that said, there've been almost a couple dozen different builds traveling around for shows & displays. this is very unprecedented & if they are 'finally' being able to get the final touches put on the interiors, it's actually right about on time for a normal release.

They were given strict instrunctions from Scott himself not to let anyone sit in them. I talked to Mike from GM (Scott would know him). Really nice guy and he really enjoyed talking about them to everyone

Mike Rhudy (sp?) is a very nice guy. He knows quite a bit more information on Camaros then the average GM auto show rep would. Def. a good hire on GM's part.

Some people just don't get it...

You either get to see the cars early and not sit in them or you wait and get to sit in them.

Okay, Scott. Went to the car show last night. Sat in the Challenger. Was very disappointed. From the inside it feels like you are sitting in a carbon copy of the Charger. Exterior was nice, but plain. Was missing something. Don't know what.

On to the Camaro. Obviously I wasn't able to sit in it but in the end it really didn't matter. The car is badass. I have faith that the interior and my comfort/fit in the car will be fine due to the hard work of the Camaro team. I'm very glad I placed my order on October 13th and I absolutely will not be canceling my order for a Challenger.

My opinion may have also been swayed by seeing the Cyber Gray Metallic Corvette Z06 that was sitting right next to the Camaros since I ordered CGM for my Camaro. Fantastic color. Can we see it for real on a Camaro now please?
