Also, I was paying cash (not wanting another car payment), so I was either getting a really good V6, or a marginal V8.
I am not into the V8 - V6 war. That is fine for kids, but tends to get stupidly expensive. And as mentioned by another, I don't see anyone forking over the difference in cost. This was supposed to be about V6s. Hell, if I was serious about power and speed, I would get a Hellcat.
Thanks for steering me away from the 2010 I nearly bought. That would have been trouble.
I did get a 2013 manual LT, and she is just perfect.

Okay Mister Moderator. You can lock this one up.

thanks,

You do realize your comment is ridiculous since you can put twin turbos on a V8 just as easily as you can on a V6 and you still wouldn't come close to a V8.

If I had the money, I would just keep my V6, use as daily driver, but get an overboard SS or ZL1. Best of both worlds!

We got the automatic. I was on the fence about which way to go, but the wife was firm on not wanting to shift!

When my wife didn't want me to buy the LS3 because she didn't enjoy shifting and would hate to drive it I bought it.

I had to have plastic surgery to reattach my right ear.

I was talking about a non tt v8 maybe just a bolt on v8 and you can still make big power on the v6 I know a guy in the town below me making 640 on his lfx on 22 psi on garret turbos if he had a v8 he would maybe make 50 hp more and the lfx is very good for fi

So he makes roughly 750 at the crank or 640 to the crank. If thats 640 rwhp i sure would like to see the specs on that car.
