Another big month for the Challenger. Also so much for the 2018 Mustang sales were going to drop due to increase pricing over 2017 models.

It is a shame. They are nice cars. I use mine as a DD and drove it all winter. It is a fun good looking commuter, that sounds way better and is much faster then 90 percent of the cars on the road. The SS is even faster, But I love my LGX

I am glad I have one life is to short for boring cars. Congrats to the 5k new Camaro owners. You have made good choices.

Well, they actually are lower than last March and that's including the fact that the car has been refreshed.. I wouldn't draw any conclusions either way from this though.

I read this morning that GM is moving to quarterly sales data releases. So next sales sheet will be out in July.

Just to clarify when you note "down" it refers to March of 2017 sales figures not last months wich is what I originally thought it was referencing.

If Camaro sales average 5,000+ per month, I don't believe GM will discontinue it. I just can't imagine GM anticipated selling many more than 60-75k units annually.

I don't think its in danger of going bye bye, but I'd bet they expected it to be doing better than it currently is.

It would be easier if the mods just copied and pasted the same posts month after month. Haha.

One, we'll never know their planned sales volumes.

Two, this is one month. Last month is was below 4,000 units.

Three, I'm betting they were counting on 80 to 100,000 units. Selling 50% more than Corvette volumes with an entry level 4 cylinder in the mix isn't what they had in mind.

75 would be ok right now. But that is averaging over 6,000 per month which they aren't close to doing.

Everyone said when the Mustang prices went up the sales would level. Didn't happen.......so far.

Again, we need sales breakdowns for % women vs men. % 4 and 6 cylinder vs V8. The sales differential lies in those numbers.

I'm guessing the SS outsells the GT or is at least equal. But that is just an opinion. I'd love to see the data.
