When I was a teenager, I always wanted to go see the California car scene after reading about it in Hot Rod and Car Craft. I've been out there a number of times in the last 20 years and the only thing I liked was InAndOut Burger. Oh, and the sea lions on the wharf. Just nothing there that can't be had elsewhere easier.
