It's made by DJ Safety... The mount frame comes in pieces and you cut and fit and weld it to the particular application... We also fabbed the mounting frame from scratch...

They are not the vendor we got cross ways with though...

So, Brandi had her eyes done today...

I cut out some 1/4 inch plexiglass pieces and shaped them with a belt sander and then formed the curve with a heat gun and some time... I edged them with single sided foam tape and then installed them in the front fascia.

I used blue painters tape and then covered it all with heavy duty duct tape.

This will deflect air off the front of the car, and keep the front fascia from shark jawing open during the high speed runs.

We got the front sway bar remounted and also the parachute release handle. It's fully removable so that when Debbie is riding with me, she doesn't have this big metal bracket sticking her in the leg.

The last item we installed is a remote battery cut off switch. This is an emergency device use by rescue crews in the event of an accident. I'll get pictures of the install later, but like the parachute mount, it is all hidden behind the license plate.

Justin, Camaroskooter stopped by and got his Go-Pro cameras mounted. There ought to be some good video...

looking awesome robert! Can you post pix when you start installing the remote cut off switch? I have all the parts for mine, but havent had the time to install it.

Also, if you have any more pics of the cutoff plates please post! I'm shooting to run the Mojave Mile in November, although I'm sure I'll miss it with all the work that needs to get done on the car.

Will you be covering the whole front grille when you're done?

I'llpost some pics of the shutoff switch but it's already installed, and a bit different since it's mounted on the chute framework in the trunk... This is all one off stuff but I'll certainly post some pics.

What are you referring to for the cutoff plate...

As for the rest of the grill, no, The radiator sits behind the open upper grill area and the inter-cooler and oil cooler are behind the lower grill...

Oops, I was talking out the battery cutoff switch; I plan on installing it on the passenger side of the rear bumper, or the passenger side of the windshield shroud.

I'll post up what I can on how we did it.... Again, it's mounted on the chute frame so a bit different.

Thanks for the kind words and thoughts...

Debbie isn't going to make this trip, but I'll be talking to her after every run to assure her I am good...

I'll have my iPad with me so I'll be able to post up some results...

I am behind schedule. My tires haven't arrived. They should be in tomorrow. Brake pads will get hand delivered at SEMA. We'll install them at SEMA. Alignment, brake flush and corner weight tomorrow. I did everyone's car but my own
