I may have to do the same thing...My position was 'eliminated' after 14 years...Doubt I'll find another position that pays what I make now..It'll REALLY break my heart if I have to let Blue go....

The darkest hour is only 60 minutes long.

Keep your head held high.

I'd put money on it that your loving wife is already planning on how to replace your Camaro come spring. Wives love planning things like this.

I am sorry to hear that. I have been feverishly paying off mine. Not buying HiPo parts, have it 4/5 paid off. My heart goes out to you that you had to make that sacrifice.

Sorry to hear that, but it's the right decision.
I had a similar conversation with my wife this past weekend. Her position at work is not stable at all and she's not had any luck on the job hunt for a new one.

As much as I love my Camaro, I love my family more. We'll see what the next few months bring.

To the OP, good luck and hope you get to have another Camaro real soon. All the best.

Hang in there. Good to hear of a finiancially responsible person making the hard choices for the right reasons. Keep making good fiscal decisions and before you know it you will have another Camaro to love.

I bought mine with cash a month after I left the firm I was working for. Figured that when you "pull the trigger" on something like that, most likely the second biggest purchase you can make after a house, that you have to factor that in regardless.

Now I am back to work with another firm and better money and the Camaro is looking good!
