Front License Plate Be Gone!

If there was any car that a front license plate didn't belong, it would be a 5th generation Camaro SS. Ever since I got my car nearly 6 months ago, I have been thinking of ways to remove the front license plate bracket without using bumper plugs.

I decided to go with a method of using 3M Bondo I found on an m3 forum, and it turned out pretty well.

Here is my DIY thread if anyone is interested in easily improving the look of there car.

Here are a couple pic of the car before and after...

Before:

After:

Overall I think it went pretty good! From more than 5 feet away you can't see where I filled the holes, even in broad daylight. One thing that I am still trying to fix is the angles the bumper was formed to from the pressure of the license bracket. Hopefully a heat gun could reform the plastic, but I am open to suggestions!

Thanks for viewing!

Yep, no pics.

Without the front plate bracket (car wasn't sold in PA) I couldn't have this snazzy front plate:

Have to agree with that! Thanks for your service.

I got no statements, per se. Gonna leave my off until I have to do something.

Best job I ever had!
As far as the statement goes.... I'm pretty sure if I hadn't served there would be NO plate on the front....

Sadly not an option for those of us that live in states that require a license plate on the front of the car.

Pics loaded for me.

My state requires front plate. I don't have it on though. Had mine for 5 years this coming Friday. Never been pulled over for it. Of course I have Marine Corps plates on the back, so maybe that gets me a pass.
