If they have rust, put some thin oil on them for removal. For installation, You should check, but I think clean, dry thread and flange. 200lbs/ft is not all that much if the wrench is 2 ft long or more. My torque wrench only goes to 150. On my truck, I estimated the additional torque.

Depending on how many miles are on your car, think about changing the hubs at the same time. I bought the heavy flange and bearing hubs for ZL1Z28. They were settin in the garage cabinet for over a year until I did the front brakes a couple months ago. Still haven’t done the rears.

Thanks for all the information. My Camaro is a 2014, just turned 11K, garage kept so I don't expect any problems with corrosion. Local parts store will actually lend me a torque wrench covering the 200 foot pounds.

I just ordered the two axle nuts so I don't expect they will arrive here until around the tenth or eleventh. So I am thinking I might start this project and the end of October early November.

With the axle nuts I have everything I need. Will keep you updated as I tackle the job.
