MBRP with Solo Hi Flow Cats

Thinking about getting solo cats in addition to my mbrp 3 in exaust. Has anyone here done this combination? If so what do you think of the sound and gains. If possible could you guys post some vids or sound clips? I think it should sound down right nasty on my LS3.

I think you will like it. It keeps the smell down from fully catless but doesn't take away too much of the "raw-ness".

The Solo high flows will add a nice bark to your MBRP and some bite to go with it. They are a great option for anyone that doesn't want to get into headers just yet.

Well I installed my solo hf cats today paired with the mbrp system. I like it, in now sounds like I wanted it to sound like when I got the cat back system. It is louder than before but louder in a good way it grabs your attention but is not obnoxious. I also feel that the car wants to break loose more than before the instal. All and all it is just perfect and sounds nasty but not over the top. For all you guys that have got aftermarket cat back systems that were hoping for some more bark the solo cats will wake that system up in a good way. If you just want plain loud go with long tubes. Going on a 3 day road trip this weekend before she hibernates for winter will post a video when I get back.

Those videos do no justice to you hear it in person first hand.

MBRP cat back & rectangular tips fit the factory GFX perfect.
