I've owned 4 dodge trucks, 98, 03, 05, 2013 and have had very little issues with any of them. First truck was base model short bed 2 wheel drive and moved up to ext. cabs with 4 wheel drive and the Laramie package. Regular maintenance and care, they have all been a great truck to own.

just off the revisions that did to the charger and 300C is crazy. The competition doesn't even offer half the stuff you get with the base models

I bet the 2004 I owned, and the 2013 share 90% of their mechanical parts. Also, I did include the years of the trucks I have experience with, so the OP can use that in whatever context he wants.

my friend spun off in his 2013 ram 1500, caught some wheel hop and a very loud pop let us know his differential had blown up. Other than that issue, the new ram trucks are great.
