After sealant it was ruff
Alright so I did the whole process wash clay, polish, then I go to put sealant on let it haze for 45 mins, then wipe off and let cure for 12 hours. After then it was smooth as glass. I then wait one day before I wax, and when I go to wax it doesnt feel as smooth as it did felt maybe like dust or something. I tried wiping it off and washing it, still could feel it. So I just go ahead and wax and still same feeling. What could it be?
Im using Wolfgang Products |

Interesting. Try clay baring a very small inconspicuous area and see if it is still rough.

What wolfgang sealant are you using? Is it humid where you are located?

When you clayed it, how long did it take you and did you inspect the finish with a plastic baggy AFTER you clayed?
Sometimes, the lubricants in the clay lube can make the surface feel very slick, which can mask the texture of fine contamination slightly. One possibility is that you might not have removed the contamination during the claying process. Do you, by and chance, have a central vac in your house? |

Aren't you supposed to use the sealant after the wax stage?

Incorrect. Waxes go on top of sealants.

Dogs ruff, surfaces are rough.
As stated above, I'm guessing the sealant masked the rough feeling when it was freshly applied and not yet fully dried.

Well when I clayed it it was also smooth I did do the baggy test and the feeling I have on the car now is very different than before I clayed. After I would clay I checked surface with baggie until it was smooth. Its hard to explain, but the car now doesn't feel like it hasnt been clayed it feels like its dust, but a wipe off or wash doesn't fix the feeling.
