This is my first month with the Michellins and aside from the looks of the sidewall being a little different, I'm really loving how they perform so far. Mid 30 degree weather and she handled like a piece of cake yesterday morning going to work.
I've considered the PSS as a replacement for my Goodyears. What sizes did you go with?

I told her that since I added the upper pulley, the car breaks loose at almost any speed now and the stock tires can't handle the power anymore. She wouldn't let it go and wanted me to nail it. I told her to make sure her seat belt was securely fastened and I put it to the floor, the car went sideways (in touring mode) and then it chopped the power and straightened up. I looked over at her and she was about to crap in her pants. She said "Don't so that again." I'm getting new tires now..lmao
Damn buddy...

295/315 is what I went with but I originally thought about going with the 285/295 setup because of the taller sidewall that the PSS have compared to the GY. I like the low profile look of the stock GY's much better.

I'm not in SoCal..I am in Oklahoma...I have not tried the Michelin's yet, been waiting for these stock tires to burn off before I put anything else on it, but now that I have added this upper pulley, I am being forced into something else because the car is really dangerous to drive right now. I decided to give the Mickey Thompson Sport Comps a try before I pulled the trigger on the PSS for almost 400.00 each. The M/T's are on sale for 109.00 each right now, so I thought I would try those. For that price I'll get them a try 1st. I know if they don't work out, I can get my money back out of them by selling them locally to someone with a SS.

I was starting to think I was the only one in LA with a Z. Its lonely out here man! I can imagine summer in pasadena is pretty bad on iAT's. Down here in Venice I don't have that problem but when I leave for work at 630 am Its like driving on hockey pucks.

Cooling weather is great but on those GY, you have better luck hooking at a ice skating rink

Big difference as opposed to when it's warm out and the engine is hot. The good and bad of a forced induction motor. FYI, my only mod is a CAI Inc.

I hear you guys...ZL1's seem to be rare around SoCal. Don't see many in the wild. I see lots of V6's and some V8's but the ZL1 don't seem to come out of hiding soon. I get my ZL1 this Friday.

So true lol. The Z is like a unicorn around these parts. I picked up my Z in August and haven't seen another since. Btw congrats on the purchase! What color did you go with?

SoCal do you live on the west side? I saw a white one up off venice and Beethoven the other day. Aldo's black one driving down Beethoven between venice and ocean park. We should try to get a cruise going or something. Even if it's just some donuts lol.
