350 V8 Upgrades

Ok, ive got a 350 V8 in my 78 camaro.
im going to be getting a Holley 670 carb and a new intake.
other than that, pretty much everything else is stock.

what would be best to do to upgrade this engine?

Unless everything matches (heads, intake, carb, cam, exhaust, spark) you're just wasting $. A motor is only as strong as it's weakest "link".

When I was 18 I changed the cam, intake and carb on my 72 Chevelle. Guess what, it was slower when I was done. Should have dumped the money on heads (it already had headers). Oh well, live and learn.

Nine years laters, I made a better choice and just bought a crate motor from Summit to put in my 71 Vette. Never took it to the track, but she was pretty damn fast after that.
