Cant go in reverse/ Stuck in park
Did a little burn out leaving work drove home perfectly fine ...Now this morning its stuck in park and wont go in reverse... I disconnected the negitive battery cable no luck.. Can sombody tell me where the reverse solenoid fuse is located ? I have no idea what to do from here thanks guys.. 2011 L99

Are you hearing the clicking from the release mechanism when you step on the brake pedal

You are not parked on a hill are you? Could just be jammed by the weight of the car against the parking pawl.

I had my girl check make sure both breaklights are working and they are... Im lost

I do not have an automatic. But dont most have a small cover near the shifter that covers a key hole? This can be used to unlock the shifter.

Took the shifter component apart cleaned it up threw a lil wd40 on an eventually got it in reverse, i thought it was just stuck but still took it in to a local shop i always go to and they think its somthing to do with the brake pedal i forget what they said its called but its only $50 i figured it wont hurt.. Part comes in on Tuesday but i was able drive home they said if it happens again to pump on the break pedal to get it out of park... Well see i guess.. Thanks guys
