Black side skirts and spoiler/diffuser

What product have people had success using to make the black plastic side skirts and front spoiler/rear diffuser nice and dark black?

A long long time ago I used Armor All on another car and it made the plastic go whiteish coloured so Ive been hesitant to put anything on the ZL1. But I know it would look so much better darker black.

I have a bottle of 303 Protectant and am thinking of using it when the car is cool and in the shade (never on a hot surface in the sun) - but thought Id ask and see what others are using...

^^ Thanks for the link. Interestingly enough however, the reviews on that link are not very flattering at all of this product.

I've used the adams one, it doesn't last that long unless you put a protectant over it I think. I used it on an older vehicle and it does seem to only last a month or 2. But I used it on one of my current vehicles and after the cure time I went over it again with their ceramic trim coating and it seems to just be starting to fade to where I should do it again. I applied it back in October

I saw the same thing on the website. I was actually thinking about ordering some until I saw the reviews.

Armor All Outlast works great as well. I use it on my diffuser, grilles, and it makes my rally stripes look like new.

I am pretty sure it was VHT. It is white stuff. I use is sparingly. wipe it on, clean it off with a clean rag.

I used to used Turtle Wax back to black and it was good but I couldn't find it.

Then I used Zaino leather stuff but it leaves the surface too shiny

I use black magic silicon liquid "tire wet" that leaves it oily and collects dirt. Don't smear it on the paint but it doesn't do any damage if you don't like the oilyness. Can be washed off and doesn't turn white like AmorAll.

Or this
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SHJVK4G/ref

Both the positive and negative reviews on it are true. It streaks on smooth shiny black surfaces like wiper arms or window and roof trim that has more of a painted look. It works great on rough black plastic. It is more similar to a clear coat of paint so handle it accordingly. Clean the surface and ALL water from the edges (waiting time after wash or leaf blower dry) or the water mixes in as you wipe and makes a splotch that's tough to repair. Use blue painters tape around edges of where you wipe so you don't smear on the paint.
On very weathered cars I've used it on wiper arms and tail lights and the other trim too and the slight streaking still looked better than it was before. Don't recommend that on a low mi car that isn't sun beat or the streaking will be worse than any improvement on a near new smooth surface.

I like Lexol Vinylex, can be used on multiple surfaces and I've been very happy with the UV protection especially on the interior parts. I've owned 4 convertibles over the past 20 years so UV is critical - this product works well on exterior black like the front fascia and rockers too. Gives a great clean satin finish, not recommended if you are looking for a high gloss / high shine pop though.
