I have installed them all and IMO Barton cannot be beat.
MGW is very close and it would be a matter of preference, but for $200 less Barton gets my vote.
I love my Barton, I bought mine not due to price but function, two handles if you want to use the fat factory knob and the handle is adjustable up and down. Down gives you the shortest throw whch is where I keep mine.

the LSR shifter is also adjustable up and down. You can also use the stock knob or an aftermarket knob.

Yo can anyone help, I posted that I'm switching to the MGW shifter from the MTI and I had a major issue today with the MTI shifter. I was pulling up to my house so I threw it in neutral and the shifter started vibrating violently very very bad so I put it back to second and it felt really really really loose, when I popped it back in neutral it vibrated again and sounded like something was winding down. Any info? My MGW won't be in till friday and I'm to afraid to drive the car right now as to not break something.

Maybe something loosened up. If you had a shop install it, take it in and have them check it out, that is if it is drivable!

maybe the pin that connects the shifter to the linkage came out? Can you pull off the boot and see anything? Did you install it?

That sucks! Well I'm sure you'll find the problem when you remove it to install the MGW! Good luck with it!

MTI is better than MGW. That's why Lingenfelter uses MTI.

I didn't install it, Had a local shop install it, it feels really loose but I can't lift the car or get under it because I can't move it, my drive way has a little tilt so the jack is a no, plus it's lowered. Can I remove the rubber from the inside of the car?

The reason they probably sell MTI is that MGW has no dealer program so shops can't make money on it. This is holding MGW back from being even more popular in my opinion.
