I'd be interested in a group buy as well...

Ive been dealing with hotchkis since i had my 4th gen fbody years ago. These guys make top notch supension pieces. I have their springs on my 5th Gen & plan on doing the entire suspension setup...except the strut tower brace because it only works on magnuson blowers & I'm gonna get either Kenne bell or whipple within the next year.

I already have the Hotchkis springs and I'm looking at installing some craddle bushing inserts and changing out my rear end bushings. My car is a daily driver with the occassional trip to the drag strip and hopefully a trip to the road course in the future.

Do you think that the Hotchkis brace would do the same as the bushings? It looks like it would firm up the craddle but not sure that it would do anything for the rear end.

The brace would be an easier install and I could sell it later if I were to ever get rid of my car but I'm not sure it would help as much as the bushings would. It's also close to double the price I'm looking at for the BMR kit.

BTW: anyone know that the front/rear spring rates are on the Hotchkis springs?

Hi everyone - It's very cool to see all your project Camaros, and we are especially pleased to see that our sales folk have been treating you well.

Caverman - Spring rates for the Hotchkis Camaro Springs are:

Front 210lbs/in, Rear 440 lbs/in

As for group buys, we would love to do one, but let's make it even easier. Rather than organizing a group buy, we'd like to offer a special discount code good for 15% off any 5th Gen Camaro parts until April 15.

Call us and mention Camaro5 and Code: RTCAM5 to place your order.

I wonder how this will stack up to the supposed upgraded suspension Chevy is putting on the '12s.

Just out of curiosity would it be 15% off what the article reads on page 1 which is "Camaro Track Pack. Retailing for $1298" or what the website has it listed for which is "2010 Camaro Track Pack
SKU: 80116
Price: $1,547.95"

Will this get rid of the wheel hop issues at the drag strip?

I'm sure the brace will help but look into trailing arms. Do a search there are plenty of options.

This is a good question, because I have found a few vendors selling this kit at prices cheaper than 15% off the $1,547.95 price listed on the website...

It's all true. I have this system and further to that I have the end-links and the chassis brace. Car performs like a racecar, don't know the setting of the rear but I need to find out.

My track pack is on order, and from what I hear, Hotchkis had a price increase recently so this is probably the reason for the price discrepancy. I have held off for now on the strut tower brace but I'm sure I'll end up getting one sooner or later.

I'm still curious if it's going to be better to add cradle bushing inserts and rear end bushings over the Hotchkis brace. Especially since the brace is about double the price but would be much easier to install.

Off the top of my head I'm thinking the craddle bushings will do about the same as the Hotchkis brace but the brace doesn't address the rear end at all.

Torn on my decision.....
