I think one of my rear speakers is blown. It sounds like crap if there is even the smallest amount of bass playing at lower volume. Anyone experience a blown speaker? I typically crank up my stereo as high as 30dB not any higher. I am sure it used to sound better when I bought the car.

I'm in the same boat.

Every once in a while, the bass out back sounds like a car accident. It pops and bangs something awful. So much so, in fact, that I've been driving around with the fader to full front.

To make matters worse, the drivers side front door speaker seems to be blown, too.

Time to visit my local dealer. :(

I took my car to the dealer, and they sent me home saying that it is still operational. i told them that it still has music coming out of it, but its blown. I am going back soon because i only have 3k miles left on my warrant.... They better fix it this time!

I had to go back twice, too.

The first time they told me it was because the bass was too high. So, this time I asked them what they considered to be a reasonable amount of bass adjustment BEFORE I let the hear it.

Then I set it to zero, turned up the volume to 15, and let them hear the train wreck that is my audio system.

They'll be replacing 3 speakers, plus my ABL door panel inserts, once the parts arrive.

Just get some better speakers. The BA speakers are crap. Going past about 25 on the volume will give them distortion you may not even hear. Distortion kills speakers. If you want to keep replacing junk with junk. Keep going to the dealer.
