What are best brake pads for my SS?
My car only has 15,000 miles and these breaks are squeaking way to much. Going to change out th brake pads. Which would be the best for me to buy?

It's probably not your pads. Mine started squeaking really bad at 8,000 miles. It's the brembos. There are a lot of threads on it. I took mine off and added break pad grease and it helped a little. Hawk pads are great though if you are looking at replacing.

I changed mine to Hawk Ceramic pads when my SS was 9 months old. I got tired of all the dust and squeeking. Noe I can live it for 1000 miles and you can't see any brake dust.

Have you noticed any difference in stopping power with the Hawk brake pads? I can't stand all the dust, but I don't want to give up any braking performance.

There is a loss of performance, but it still stops quicker than most cars.

Hawks are by far teh best pads I've used (I have the ceramic pads). Expensive? Yes.....but you get what you pay for. Not once ounce of brake dust!!

yup hawks are great...but u have to break them in right. But the dust s virtually eliminated. A big plus with the rims.
