Seems like people had to wait a year for the v8 VR units to ship and then their cars all ran like $#!T until they figured out how to tune them. Read a lot of posts where the owners just yanked them out. Is all that resolved now? Hope the v6's don't have to go throught that too.

Funny how VR won't send a unit to Janetty for comparison.

Seriouosly though, who else claims and has proof either by their own results, or even better, by consumer results? I did gain 21 HP just by adding the unit.

as far as them running like crap..... it was do to the MAF being to close to the throttle body I believe. I have an old style, I don't think it is a big deal, you NEVER notice any issues unless you are in cold weather and droaning around in 6th gear. at least I don't

Its a ram air intake, you know how those work right? Gotta have air moving into it for it to work as designed. Cant just throw it on a dyno and expect the air to flow into on its own.

they've been making sure there are no issues this time...they just keep bumping the release date to get it right...I'm getting one of the first run productions from Vengence Racing...Vararam did a group buy & Maryland Speed was taking preorders, but I got a better proce there

Yeah thats the thing with a Ram Air intake dyno numbers won't really help, as that type of intake starts showing itself at higher speeds like the track or highway pulls. That's why I wanted someone with a V6 Vararam intake's input, you'll have to let me know cntryman77. If not I might just play it safe and get an Injen, they're around the same price. I'm also planning on tinted windows and a Eibach lowering kit, it looks like a monster truck!!

Yep, makes lots of sense. I waited around in '09 for them, but got turned off first by the long wait, then by all the problems being posted. Glad I didn't spend the money then, it would be on a shelf collecting dust now. Got blown instead.

Sorry, not trying to discourage anybody buying one, if you get the 20+ hp, that's great!

I just couldn't resist jumping on the pile
