Hey guys, got my ZL1 last Sat, I live in Springboro just north of Cincinnati. Other than the drive home from the dealer on Sat my 1st drive was to work today, man this is going to be a fun summer...

First things first, I hope you know not to drive on the stock good year tires in temps below 40 degrees. If not, you do now. Don't do it. here's why http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...38&postcount=5

I want to take mine but all that dust... eek! If it rained Friday I would probably take it out Sunday and even Monday but I'll be busy Monday with my new (to me) DD.

Like I said, I've never been on a track before but I'd bet it would be fun and a great learning experience. Just tell me the day you guys are planning on going and I'll see if I can make it.
Seems most of the AutoInterests event there are on Monday which work for me most of the time .

I LOVE my SS (probably too much) and take excellent care of it and love driving it, which I do EVERY DAY. I have never understood owning one and then not driving it from late Fall to early Spring because of what the weather MIGHT do. I realize this winters been a bitch but still you could drive perfectly OK over 50% of the time even if you were avoiding snow/ice, etc. These are super cars, but they're $40K cars, not $500K Ferrari's or something.

if my income was 9 digits, I would be driving that 500K Ferrari as a DD.

During the summer my Camaro will probably see more miles then my "DD". I drive 5 miles one way to work and I do that once a week and I don't take the camaro. I'd rather not drive the car on shitty roads and have to spend more time washing it then driving it. Together all three of my vehicles probably won't see 5k miles combined. So I say, why should I bother? Especially with buying all seasons just for winter. So those who don't understand why some don't drive during the winter and must continue to post things like this, f-off because really, its non of your business.

A little testy, aren't we now. Congratulations on thinking of yourself as better off than us poor "average Americans".

Lol I'm not average because I don't have a daily commute hell, I pay for a house and a car and I barely see either of them, maybe two days a week.
