That is a typical factory part. People are Camaro5 are used to shiny bolt ons for car shows. lol.

Yep, that is def a brand spankin new GM 3 bolt cam gear, I probably have 5 of them on the shelf at the shop that look the same as that one! Many have already mentioned the teeth are heat treated to prevent wear, hence the discoloration. The scrapes and scratches are normal from being tossed around in a cheap plastic bag, no biggy. Install and enjoy!
And Litle88: That doesn't count cuz its a 1x gear... those come shiny... |

Yep, I will install this bad puppy soon. Just ordered my LS trunion upgrade today so soon I will have everything I need to start the teardown. Next in line is the Comp LSR cam 231/247
