If they would offer something higher than 3.27s, like a 2.90 something, I would have gone that route. First gear is useless for me on spray. I haven't tried it with great prep, but at 725-750 rwhp, a 4 to 1 first gear is not your friend.

I have my tapshift tables programmed to upshift at 7000 and I just tap up to 2nd gear, let the tune do the rest from there.

My 2nd tops at about 65 mph, so It really leaves good in 2nd with some spray.

Second gear is 2.36 I don't remember exactly that would be pretty forgiving on spray I'd think.

Though maybe Rhino's car would like some drag shocks and adjustable suspension.

Problem with my car is the converter and gear combo on spray. I haven't been to track to try it.

You hear Century is building 6L80s? I know u can build it...just thinking they may be a cool source for upgraded parts. They have a great rep and I have some friends with nice 200r4s they did.

@ OP, one way to work with stock tires would be to stall the car up at the line, two footing it, so your left foot on the brake and right foot on the gas. You can probably take your stall up to 2000 or more. So if it were me I'd probably stall it up, and gradually floor it. On a very good track I think you could see a 12.2 but on a iffy track or even a hot day when the track temps are high I'll say as bad as a 12.6.

Launching is going to be a PITA. Didn't go well for me a couple months ago and im running a 3200 stall.

Roll into the throttle slow = shitty times
Nail the throttle = spinning and shitty times.

Good luck
