5th Gen Hood Insert

Can the vents in the hood insert be removed?

Thanks.

If your talking the center piece of a ZL1 hood yes it can be removed. It has if I remember correctly 8 nuts on it and it will lift off. It has a gasket under it and the insert will kinda stick to it but be careful pulling it off as it can crack. Why you pulling it off?

Sorry, I am talking about the vents that are in the front of the insert. Not the insert on the hood.

Need to pull off to get rid of old vinyl wrap and stuff.

If I understand you correctly your saying the vents directly in front of the insert ON the hood? That will come off with the insert as one piece. Now to get the vents off of the insert I think those a glued together with panel bond or something and I doubt you can get them apart without breaking them. Good luck
