My buddy had the motorized one and well it didn't end up well. For some reason right after we installed it, it started to give him problems right away. His car wouldn't even turn on normally. So we ripped it out and never looked back. Maybe we were the only ones with the bad experience but you can always try it for yourself

a little confused on how it didnt start up well, because it was the motorized one i guess..? if do getthis im getting the manual one.

how the heck did he hook it up? This is the third one I have owned never heard of anything like that.

Stock bracket, inverted, and held in place with 2 toggle bolts.
It actually looks pretty decent.
Not the best pic, but you get the idea.

This isn't the exact same one, but it does the same job and mounts in the same place. You'll see they have multiple options for the ZL1 and they are a supporting vendor on this forum.

WOW this is a pretty old thread, the Jacfab (lite bent face) is the one I have, no problems at all.
